What is SALT?
The School of Advanced Leadership Training (SALT) at Hope International University (HIU) is a partnership with churches that equips emerging leaders with the knowledge and skills needed for effective and relevant ministry.
Certificate Programs
SALT currently offers three programs: the Certificate of Ministry, the Certificate of Children's Ministry Leadership, and the Certificate of Evangelism. A SALT Certificate is earned upon successful completion of 12 units, comprised of four 3-unit courses.
Courses
Courses are offered online in a streamlined format that is conducive to busy schedules, along with threaded discussions or face-to-face group meetings facilitated by an on-site mentor.
Costs
SALT courses are offered at highly discounted rates for individual students and the University encourages churches to offer scholarships for their members.
