Auditions are open to all HIU students, alumni, staff, and faculty, as well as family members or others who are closely affiliated with the University. Any level of ability or experience is welcomed.

On Saturday, December 13, 2025, Hope International University celebrated its 117th Commencement Ceremony in the Darling Pavilion of the Lawson-Fulton Student Center.

HIU’s Student Government Association organized our first annual Cancer Awareness Walk to support and pray for those affected by cancer, including former SGA President, Jorge Perez.

There is an urgent, growing need to fill the pipeline for the next generation of church and ministry leaders. In response, HIU hosted the PURSUE Conference of CIY (Christ in Youth) again this year.

HIU ministry professors, Dr. Toney and Dr. Dagley, took four current ministry students to Louisville, KY, for the annual SPIRE Conference and to visit historic sites of the Christian Church movement.

Our generous donors and sponsors teamed up to give nearly $50,000 to benefit Hope students through funding scholarships and departmental programs. To date, HIU’s tournament has raised more than $1,000,000 to benefit Hope students.

Retired Pacific Christian College/Hope International University Professor (and Administrator) Paul McReynolds passed away on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, from cancer and complications from cancer. He was 88.
