College Factual has ranked Hope International University #58 out of 183 colleges in the state of California for ethnic diversity nationwide.

HIU’s own Dr. Paul Alexander, Vice President for Academic Affairs, has created a powerful, poignant workshop and video series for pastoral staff entitled “Depression & Ministry.”

Dr. Brian Albright, Adjunct Professor for the College of Business and Management, was drawn to work with LRMI by the partnership of the Kenyan and American leadership and their vision to care for people.

The annual event provides approximately 16,000 local school children the opportunity to think about math and science in fun new ways by turning the Honda Center into the largest classroom in Southern California.

HIU’s College of Arts & Sciences proudly announces the addition of a Kinesiology degree program to its Traditional Undergraduate studies, launching this Fall.

The HIU College of Education held its first-ever Commissioning Ceremony on January 28, 2019 honoring students who have been awarded a California Teaching Credential or a California Administrative Credential.

HIU’s sixth President, Dr. John L. Derry, announces he is retiring in August of 2019. He and his wife, Jane, are moving to Texas to spend more time with their children and grandchildren. A search for HIU’s next President is underway.
